Al Mann

Al’s IT channel experience spans more than thirty years. Al began his career with Entre Computer Centers as a Buyer. In 1988, he was recruited to become Micro D’s Purchasing Manager of Hardware. When the acquisition of Micro D by Ingram Software transitioned into “Ingram Micro,” Al was promoted numerous times. His final position during twelve years of service at Ingram Micro, was Senior Vice President of Product Management. Post Ingram Micro, Al has been an advisory board member for technology products companies as well as a business development Vice President for a large minority owned leasing and technology products reseller. He co- founded AccessChannel with Michael Terrell in 2005.

Michael’s IT channel experience also spans more than thirty years. He began with Byte Shops and was instrumental in its sale to Pacific Telephone. He then co-founded Microware Distribution and helped drive its success so that it was bought by Synnex. Prior to AccessChannel, Michael was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Ingram Micro Logistics. During Michael’s ten years of service to Ingram Micro, he held the positions of Vice President of New Products, Vice President of Purchasing EMEA and Vice President of Purchasing U.S. Michael’s ability to automate workflow and his deep understanding of Ingram Micro’s processes, enabled him to develop and implement customized software that integrates vendor information with Ingram IMPULSE and created AccessChannel’s highly valuable scalable transaction processing and reporting platform.

For more than thirty years, Robert has been involved in many facets of the IT industry. He is very active with private investing, channel consulting and board activities. Robert was Vice President, Operations for Gateway Computer systems which was a nine-store chain and a holder of one of the first IBM authorization medallions. He founded, was President of, and later sold Distec Business Products, an IT distributor and one of five exclusive Sony computer products distributors in the U.S. Robert was the Founder and President of TAMCO (Technology Associates Marketing Company) one of the largest, successful and most respected rep companies in the industry. He was the Founding Partner of TEMCO, an IT channel event incubation company. He was the Executive Director of NASBA, the association of channel resellers for eight years, and then founded and leads The ICN Group as CEO. ICN Group provides strategic go-to- market preparation and consulting services including market research, brand and category market planning.
